Yoshinori Kitase Willing To Remake More Final Fantasy HD Games if X and X-2 HD Sell Well

Final Fantasy series producer Yoshinori Kitase is open to giving other titles in the Final Fantasy series (particularity Final Fantasy XII) the HD treatment if Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster sell well. In an interview with RPG Site, Yoshinori Kitase specifically pointed out Final Fantasy XII as one game that Square Enix would like to redo in HD.

Yoshinori Kitase said: "If they do well, I think this will pave the way for more of the previous games to remade in an HD sort of quality. I mean, if we had to single out one of the vast number of Final Fantasy titles which we could make in HD, it would have to be Final Fantasy XII. What I can say though is that I hope the remastering of X and X-2 will trigger similar projects for more of the past games."
