Killer is Dead is set to release on August 27th in North America and August 30th in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game includes dual-audio (Japanese and English voice tracks). In North America, the first-run edition is known as the Launch Edition, in Europe, it’s called the Fan Edition. Both will cost $59.99 / £54.99.
The story of Killer is Dead revolves around Mondo Zappa, an executioner for an assassination firm charged with killing bad people the world over. Zappa swings a sword with his right arm while his left, a full cybernetic replacement, can form various other weapons such as a drill or gun.

Killer in Dead's is being published by Deep Silver in Europe, and Xseed Games in North America. Xseed and Deep Silver have announced that, Killer is Dead is set to release on August 27th in North America and August 30th in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360. On top of that Xseed and Deep Silver confirmed a ton of bonus content that will ship with all initial launch copies of the game. Killer Is Dead is getting 2 special editions this August. The Fan Edition (£54.99), includes an exclusive art book, soundtrack CD, poster, paper-craft diorama and the 'Smooth Operator Pack.' The cheaper Limited Edition (£49.99), contains all of the content included in the Smooth Operator Pack.

Killer is Dead Premium Edition includes The Lingerie DLC (Officer and Ms. Dynamite Cop Costumes). Two DLC missions: The Temptation of Miss Vampire gigolo mission, and The Man Who Snatched Blood containing beautiful women. An extra episode where Mondo is an executioner, and a peeping glass that helps during gigolo missions. Characters who appear in the episode include the previously revealed bloodsucker beauty Betty, and a new character named Sebastian.
